Pricing 2025

Arrival on Sunday, 30/11 (a cold buffet will be served at the Paul Langevin Center for dinner)

Arrival on Sunday 30/11 will be offered only if at least 20 people register. Otherwise, your arrival date will automatically be moved to Monday 1/12, and we will notify you.

Lodging with all meals included

• shared double room = 413.87 € Taxes included 
• single room = 465.90 € Taxes included

Bus option
(if you select the bus option while registering, you will be billed for it even if you end up not taking the bus)

• from Aussois to Chambéry on Thursday 4/12/2025 (departure 13:00)

To be paid with the final invoice. The bus fare (typically 33 €) will be determined once we have the total count of participants who have chosen this option, and we will notify you. For other means of transportation, see the Transportation section below.

Arrival on Monday, 1/12 (Participants arriving on Monday are expected for lunch)

Your registration implies your presence until Thursday noon. The prices announced will cover the cost of full board accommodation during your stay. All confirmed registrations are final, and no partial reimbursement is possible.

Funding

If you are unable to cover the costs of your stay, please send an email to the organizers (gdr-meso-ple-25@sciencesconf.org) as soon as possible to maximize your chances of being funded by the GDR. The GDR has a small budget to organize the conference, and to offer some grants (please note that the grants do not cover transportation).

Transportation

• Train:

Aussois can be reached by train + bus or taxi. High-speed train lines (TGV Inoui & Frecciarossa) go to Chambéry Challes-les-Eaux station or Modane station.

Buses will be available between Chambéry and Aussois on Monday, 01/12/2025 (departure 10:00 from Chambéry), and between Aussois and Chambéry on Thursday, 04/12/2025 (departure 13:00 from Aussois).  If you choose one of these options, it will be invoiced by the conference center. The price, determined according to the number of participants selecting each option, will be communicated to you as soon as possible after registration.

Participants arriving at Modane station can reach Aussois by taxi (see below).

The sessions will finish at noon sharp on the 4th, and a lunch will be served.

IMPORTANT: if you select the bus option while registering, you will be billed for it even if you end up not taking the bus!

Taxis can be booked through the Centre Paul Langevin, contact Mathilde Fléchon (by phone 04 79 20 42 05 or by e-mail Mathilde.Flechon at caes.cnrs.fr).

• Car:

Take the A43 motorway to Modane, go through the town, then follow the signs for Aussois. The Centre Paul Langevin is signposted from the centre of the village of Aussois (the Centre overlooks the village).
If possible, car-share.

Payment options

1. On site. You pay individually at the Centre Paul Langevin directly, the Centre will then issue you an invoice that will allow you to request reimbursement.

2. By purchase order (so that you do not have to pay in advance). After registrations are closed, we'll communicate you the final amount including the bus fees. You can then have financial managers issue a purchase order for the payment of your stay. It is strongly recommended to establish only one purchase order per team or laboratory to simplify management and minimize administrative costs.
